Maybe you cannot see it very well, but this is Saturday view of the city from Twin Peaks. If you look closely, there's a moon towards the center mountain range (Mt. Diablo left).

Having an icecream
My visit in Munich was blessed with the best and the warmest weather possible. Icecream cravings abound :)
In front of Sven's favorite water fountain in Munich.
This fountain is called Wittelsbacherbrunnen and is located at the Lenbachplatz. Apparently, the fountain is named after an aristocrat "Wittelsbacher" who's name is often seen in Munich and Bavaria.Sven
On Tuesday evening, my friend Sven took me on an evening walk through Munich after dinner, starting at the old downtown through the Hofgarten, the English garden and the western neighborhoods,
Lederhose and Dirndl
Somehow, to me, the word Dirndl sounds very Germanic, but also very very Bavarian.
