Here's one of my favorite girl swimmers of Tsunami, Marieke Kruidering, a PhD from UCSF ! Originally from Holland, she swims fast and her determination is quite remarkable. While I always sandbag my time so I don't have to be too nervous on the starting block, Marieke always pushes herself ;-) !
